Chicago, Illinois
2 bedroom, 2 bathroomcondominium renovation
2,450 sq.ft.
Completed 2008

Included in this spacious Gold Coast renovation ranged in scope from room to room and varied from complete gut rehab to a stripping of old paint and repainting. The scope of work included an updated kitchen and butler’s pantry, new space pac air conditioning through out, an expanded and completely remodeled master bath, custom radiator covers, remodeled second bathroom, and the sealing of previous door openings and creating new ones to suit the needs of the new owners and the create more a more functional use of space throughout.

In the study, an existing door way was sealed off and all traces of it were concealed with a custom built-in which seamlessly integrates in to the existing wood paneling and shelves. A similar approach was taken in the existing dining room where another existing door way was closed off and replaced with wall and trim details which leave no trace as to its previous existence. We worked closely with the owners, general contractor, tradesmen, and vendors to insure the successful coalescence of the many parts of this complex project into a unified and finished whole.

Materials: red oak floors stained to match existing, carrera marble tile, painted pine cabinets, granite
